• do weekly inspections of hazardous waste storage area;

• mark with the accumulation start date and did label with the words "Hazardous Waste."

• to clean spills of hazardous waste on containers and on the floor in the storage area;

• make arrangements with the fire department, police, hospital or emergency response teams;

• post the required emergency information next to the telephone;

• ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper waste handling and emergency procedures;

• label or mark containers of used oil with the words “Used Oil”; and

• clean up a release of used oil from a 1000-gallon container;
